Named “Oklahoma’s Favorite Weathercaster” by weatherist.com, Jesus was the first Spanish-speaking broadcast meteorologist in Oklahoma. Jesus earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Atmospheric Sciences from the University of Miami Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science.
Raised in South Florida, Jesus witnessed various weather events from the common afternoon thunderstorm to the threat of a tropical system. Intrigued by the wonders of our atmosphere, Jesus was inspired to become a meteorologist. His passion lies in analyzing the various metrics involved in tracking hurricanes and then creating a plotting chart to evaluate the potential path of the storm.
