Mark Mancuso, On-Air Meteorologist

Globally recognized weather industry veteran and tropical storm expert Mark Mancuso is an On-Air Meteorologist at AccuWeather.

With a proven record of accurate weather predictions, Mark is known worldwide for his short-range forecasting.  He is consistently sought after to provide forecasts in the most critical weather situations.

A recipient of the prestigious American Meteorological Society’s AMS Seal, Mark is a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist who has distinguished himself as one of the elite members of the AMS.  With over 30 years of experience in on-air broadcast meteorology, Mark provides impactful and effective live broadcasts on breaking severe weather events ranging from hurricanes and snowstorms to droughts and tornadoes. 

Raised just outside of Boston, Massachusetts, Mark has always been fascinated by extreme winter weather.  He takes pride in knowing that his broadcasts help the public plan accordingly when they are in the path of severe breaking weather.  A graduate of the world-renowned Pennsylvania State University meteorology program, Mark has had opportunities to travel across the nation throughout his career to help people’s lives.  

Not only does Mark enjoy knowing that he is making a difference at AccuWeather, he also enjoys volunteering during his free time.  Mark enjoys experiencing the weather firsthand and is an avid outdoorsman.  His favorite activities include playing tennis and softball.
